Esther L. Draper MARION-Esther L. Draper, 82, of Marion passed away at 9:00 PM, Sunday, March 9, 2008 in at the Helia Healthcare Center in Carbondale. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, March 13, 2008 at the Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Reverend Don Colson officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion. Mrs. Draper was born September 27, 1925 in Benton, Illinois to William and Odie (Overturf) Clinton. She married Ralph Draper on November 14, 1945 in Union County, Kentucky; he preceded her in death on February 5, 2006. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, William and Donna Draper of Marion; son, R.D. Draper of Indiana; grandchildren, Doug, Cory and David Draper; and great grandchildren, Ty and Brody Draper. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; brothers, G.W. Clinton and Claude Clinton; and sister, Maxine Clinton. Mrs. Draper was a homemaker. She loved music, reading and fishing.
