Ernest Weatherford MARION-Ernest Weatherford, 56, of Marion passed away at 7:30 PM, Wednesday, August 17, 2005 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Marion. A Private Memorial Service will be held. Memorials may be made to the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Marion and may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, IL 62959. Mr. Weatherford was born on July 7, 1949 in Murphysboro, Illinois to John and Mary Louise (Harrouff) Weatherford. He married Dorothy (Dottie) Louise McGinn on June 8, 1974 in New Baden, Illinois and she survives. Other survivors include sons, Matthew Weatherford, Jason Weatherford, Jonathon Weatherford; grandchildren, Austin and Ryan Weatherford. He was preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Weatherford was an EMT for Williamson County Ambulance Service since 1976. He was also a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus.
