ERIN C. (LOGAN) LANDWER
CREAL SPRINGS-Erin Cristin (Logan) Landwer, 29, Minot, North Dakota formerly of Creal Springs, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2010 in a Minot, North Dakota hospital.
Memorial services to celebrate Erins life will be held at 3:00 P.M, Friday, January 22, 2010 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Marion with Reverend Marlin Otte officiating. Blue Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements with Private Interment at Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church or to the Family Learning Center, John A Logan College Literacy Program; envelopes are available through the funeral home or may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411 Marion, IL 62959.
Erin was born October 1, 1980 in Herrin, the daughter of Richard D. and Elinor (Beke) Logan. She was raised at the Lake of Egypt in Southern Illinois and attended schools in Marion, graduating from high school there in 1998. She attended college at SIU, Southern Illinois University, where she received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and a Masters degree in British Literature.
She was united in marriage to USAF Captain Andy Landwer. They moved to Minot in 2006, where he has served at the Minot Air Force Base. While living in Minot, she was actively involved with the Minot Chamber Chorale, volunteered with the Minot Soccer Association as a coach, served as a room mother at Bel Air Elementary and Little Flower Catholic Schools in Minot. She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter and friend to many.
Survivors include her husband, Andy Landwer of Minot; her children, Gavin and Ian Landwer; her parents, Richard & Elinor of Creal Springs; and brother, Drew Logan of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
