Elzia “Ed“ Fallin MARION - 8220;Elzia “Ed” Fallin, 72, of Marion passed away at 6:50 AM, Sunday, May 4, 2008 at home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Saturday, May 10, 2008 at Duck River Baptist Church in Holly Pond, Alabama. Visitation will be from 6:00PM to 9:00PM at the Hanceville Funeral Home in Hanceville, Alabama. Local visitation will be Wednesday, May 7, 2008 from 5:00PM to 8:00 PM at Blue Funeral Home in Marion. Burial will be at Duck River Cemetery. Mr. Fallin was born on January 19, 1936 in Culman, Alabama to Oan P. and Alvonia (Hann) Fallin. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Glenda and Russell Sutton of Energy; and Deborah and Randy Christopher of Carrollton, Texas; grandchildren, Sherry Sutton, Chris Sutton, and Bill Hudgens; great-grandchildren, Mathew and Lucas Jones, and Emily Grace Hudgens; brothers, Chester Fallin of Culman, Alabama, Rayford Fallin of Birmingham, Alabama, Laster Fallin of Alabama, Troy Fallin of Culman, Alabama, Morris Fallin of Rockyface, Georgia, and Myrtis Fallin of Culman, Alabama, and many other family members. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Lurene Hailes, Louise Hopkins, and Shirley Ravenscraft; and brother, Lonnie Fallin. Mr. Fallin was a retired truck driver. He loved his family. He was loved by his family and all who knew him. He will surely be missed by all who knew him.
