Ella Elizabeth Wilson Bradley Sweet
CARBONDALE Ella Elizabeth Wilson Bradley Sweet, 84, passed away at 10:00 PM, Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at her home in Carbondale.
A private memorial service was held on Friday, March 12, 2010. Blue Funeral Home in Marion assisted the family with the arrangements.

Ella was born February 12, 1926 in Logan, Illinois to Clarence L. and Minnie E. (Furgerson) Wilson.
She married Oral A. Junior Bradley, February 7, 1946. Two children where born to this marriage, Karen Sue Bradley and Glen Allen Bradley. Junior was killed in the Orient #2 Coal Mine explosion on December 21, 1951.
Ella later married Richard John Sweet, on February 20, 1960. A daughter, Tammy Lee Sweet was born to this marriage. Richard died on March 4, 1987 in Punta Gorda, Florida.
Survivors include her daughters, Karen Huntley of Carbondale and Tammy & Michael Nelson of Herrin; grandchildren, Ben D. & Delene Huntley of Washington, Melanie Ann & Scott Cameron of Florida; Melissa Lynn & Leo Robinson of Carterville; Glen Allen Bradley of North Carolina, and his mother Jacqueline & Richard Esslinger, Ashley Ann & Nathan Atwood of Herrin, and Jerrod Richard Nelson of Herrin; great-grandchildren, Talton & Ethan, Kylan & Olivia Cameron and Eleni & Madelyn Robinson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Oral & Richard; son, Glen Allen Bradley; granddaughter Kelly Nelson; brothers, Delbert & Clarence Wilson; and sister Sybil Boaz.
Ella was a member of University Baptist Church. She leaves her dear sweet little black dashund Molly 2 to mourn her. She was an avid crossword puzzler and a gifted artist. Ella will long be remembered for her infectious smile and sense of humor.
