Elizabeth Dianne Zoeller

CARBONDALE-Elizabeth Dianne Zoeller, 54, of Carbondale passed away at 1:05 PM, Monday, April 25, 2005 at her residence. Ms. Zoeller was born on April 10, 1951 in Carbondale, Illinois to William W. and Lillian (Adams) Zoeller. Survivors include her parents, William and Lillian Zoeller of Marion; brother and sister-in-law, David and Terrie Zoeller of Marion; nephews, Dustin and Chris Zoeller; aunts and uncles, Dorothy McGee, Mary and J.W. Benton, Joan and Sherlock Holmes, Bob and Linda Zoeller, Jeanette and Ron Bowman, Carol and Nick Nicholson, Dan and Carolyn Zoeller, Kay and Jack Holderfield, Vera and Al Grill, Joan Cassidy, Dennis and Phyllis Adams, and Sue and Jack Keller; many cousins. Ms. Zoeller was a member of the University Baptist Church in Carbondale where she was and active member of the choir. She formerly worked as a dispatcher for the Southern Illinois University Police Department. She was a member of the board for Southern Illinois Center of Independent Living and a graduate of Southern Illinois University in Social Work. She lived a fiercely independent and active life for as long as her body allowed. Despite many hardships, she maintained a sense of optimism, and a belief in the unlimited possibilities of life
