Eileen Norris MARION-Eileen Norris, 71, of Marion passed away at 9:36 PM, Thursday, October 29, 2009 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM, Sunday, November 1, 2009 at the First Apostolic Church in Marion with Reverend R. G. Walls and Reverend Keith Younkin officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of the service on Sunday at the church. Blue Funeral Home is assisting with the arrangements. Burial will be at Number 8 Cemetery in Pittsburg. Memorials may be made to First Apostolic Church building fund; envelopes are available at the church or may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, IL 62959. Eileen was born August 7, 1938 in Pontiac, Michigan to Leslie and Loyal (Hudson) Dunning. She married Arthur Eugene “Bullet” Norris on May 21, 1955 in Marion; he preceded her in death on January 10, 2005. Survivors include grandchildren, David Lee and Heather Norris of Marion, Jeremy and Laura Norris of Pittsburg, and Leslie and Kyle Cutsinger of Pittsburg; great grandchildren, Brinnen Norris, Nolen Norris, Jordan Norris and Wyatt Cutsinger; sisters and brother-in-law, Mary Parks and her friend, Mike Griffet and Vivian and Charlie Ellis; and brothers and sisters-in-law, David Dunning, Paul and Debbie Dunning and Arlie and Bev Dunning. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and son, David H. Norris. Eileen was a member of the First Apostolic Church in Marion. She was a homemaker and a very loving Grandmother. She will be missed by all who knew her.
