Edward Lee Hill MARION- Edward Lee Hill, 80, of Marion, formally of West Frankfort, passed away at 3:15 AM, Friday, March 17, 2006 at Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Zeigler. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, March 18, 2006 at the Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Reverend Bill McDonald officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 18, 2006 at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Chester, Illinois. Edward was born on March 6, 1926 in Franklin County to Gilliam and Minnie (White) Hill. Survivors include his sister and brother-in-law, Dorene and Homer Stogsdill; sister-in-law, Charlene Parks; nephews, Thomas D. Parks, Garry L. and Dianne Parks, Steven L. and Ethel Parks, Ralph and Toni Stogsdill of Springfield, Illinois, David Stogsdill, Greg and Gena Stogsdill of Springfield, Missouri, Jerry Hill of Harrisburg; nieces, Paula K. and Bill Anderson of Pittsburg, Judy and Harvey Fitzgerald of Harrisburg, Patty and Mary; and friend, Lori Stogsdill. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Velma (Hill) Peno, Dorothy (Hill) Parks; brother, Warren G. Hill; nephews, Forrest “Butch” Parks, Jeffery R. Parks, Roger Sims. Ed loved life.
