Edward Brewer Mitchell

Edward Brewer Mitchell Marion-Edward B. Mitchell, 80, born to Lawson Edward & Myrtle Irene (Morse) Mitchell went home to be with his Lord and Savior, on Thursday, March 3, 2011. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Barbara (Lucas) Mitchell; having just celebrated their 60th anniversary on February 4, 2011. They are the Proud Parents of 6 beautiful children, Eddie, Debra Kay, Jan, Vicki, Rocky and Jerry Lee, whom they called their “6 Little Angels” and God’s gift to them. Edward is preceded in death by their daughter, Debra Kay, who is truly an Angel. She lead her daddy into Heaven where Ed & Debra kneeled down and kissed the Lord’s nail scarred feet; that is what her Daddy wanted to do. His wishes for his body were to be cremated & his ashes scattered on their property; his wife will follow suit at her passing, fulfilling the scripture. In the words of God: Ashes to Ashes & Dust to Dust. Burning the old body & getting a new body from the Dust. Scattering the ashes on God’s land, they couldn’t give it to Him because He already owned it. It is Hallowed ground.
