Edith Alma Appleton Marion—Edith Alma Appleton, 88 of Marion, passed away at 7:40 AM on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at her home. Funeral services for Edith will be Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Reverend Robert Schierbaum officiating. Interment will follow At Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will precede the funeral service Saturday starting at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Edith was born Thursday, November 13, 1924 in Marion to Arthur & Eula Mae (Barchell) Rushing. Edith is survived by her children, Vivian Wells & life partner Cindy Wiltrout of Muncie, IN, Donald & Anita Wall of Dover, PA, Phyllis Shattuck of Marion, Donna & Norman Rogers of Marion and Robert D. & Lola Wolaver of Marion; twelve grandchildren and numerous great & great0great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; a grandchild and ten siblings.
