Edgar Pulley MARION–Edgar Pulley, 92, of Marion passed away at 5:20 AM, Thursday, September 2, 2010 at Heartland Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at the Blue Funeral Home on Sunday September 5, 2010 at 1:30 PM. Burial will be in East Lawn Memorial Gardens in Energy, IL. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Saturday September 4, 2010. Reverend Chris Cutsinger and Reverend Gordon Lantrip will officiate. Edgar was born in Marion on February 4, 1918 to Guy and Sylvia (Atwood) Pulley Sr. He Married Pauline Boester on March 22, 1941. She passed away on April 14, 2003. Survivors include children: Janet and John Groves of Rochester IL. ; Paula and Mike Miller of Normal IL; Grandchildren, Greg and Kim Groves; Beverly and Jeff Wunderlin; Jo Ellen and Brian Newcomb; Darin Pulley; Heather Grant; Melanie and Allen Bozarth; Staci and David Loyd; Great Grandchildren, A.J. and Emily Wunderlin; Caiti Wunderlin; C.R. Groves; Alli Loyd; Emilie Loyd; Stephen Richmond; Bryce Pulley; Bailee Pulley; Devin Barlow; Carter Grant; Zac Bozarth; Tyler Bozarth. Brothers and Sisters, Dean and Thelma Pulley; Weldon Pulley; Marvin and Vera Pulley; Yvonne Adams; Marge and Carl Patterson. Mr. Pulley was preceded by his parents, wife, Sons; Gary Alan and Stephen Pulley. Edgar was a 62 year member and deacon of the 1st Baptist Church of New Dennison. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He loved to work on small engines. Mr. Pulley retired from Norge, he never met a stranger and enjoyed story telling with friends. He will be missed by all.
