E. Tim Roland JOHNSTON CITY- E. Tim Roland, 59, of Johnston City passed away at 8:26 AM, Monday, May 12, 2008 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, May 15, 2008 at Ezra Church of God in West Frankfort with Brother Tommy Dryden officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the time of the service on Thursday at the church. Blue Funeral Home in Marion is in charge of the arrangements. Burial will be at Lakeview Cemetery in Johnston City. Mr. Roland was born on October 16, 1948 in St. Louis, Missouri to Earl and Antoinette (Buckley) Roland. He married Donna Blair on March 23, 1973 in St. Louis, Missouri; together they shared 35 years of marriage. Survivors include his wife, Donna of Johnston City; sons and daughters-in-law, Clayton and Andrea Roland and Curtis Roland all of Johnston City and Chad and Misty Roland of Marion; grandchildren, Christopher Roland and Caden Roland; and sister and brother-in-law, Diana and Herb Lowrey of St. Ann, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Roland attended Ezra Church of God. He served as a prison ministry volunteer at Big Muddy Correctional Institution. He loved sports and was a St. Louis Cardinal Fan.
