Dorris G. Christopher Marion-Dorris G. Christopher, 82, of Marion passed away at 3:15 PM, Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at her home. Visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Friday, September 17, 2010 at Blue Funeral Home in Marion. Private burial will be held in Maplewood Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest next to her husband. Dorris was born September 7, 1928 in Marion to Carl W. & Rosie (Copher) Pease. She married Charles David Christopher, who preceded her in death on February 28, 1989. Survivors include children, Bill & Pat Christopher of Marion, David & Donnita Christopher of Herrin, and Randy & Debbie Christopher of Marion; grandchildren, Dax & Laura Christopher, Devan Christopher & fiancé Samantha Jones, Shannon & Chuck Mason, Shauna Christopher, Billy Hudgens, Brian & Gretchen Miller, Lindsey Harris, Cassandra & Joshua Franklin; great-grandchildren, Will Christopher, Allison Christopher, Rylin Harris, Chelsey Harris, Isabelle Harris, Elijah Mason, Noah Mason, Emily Grace Hudgens, Garrett Leposky and Gauge Leposky. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and two brothers, Bob & Gene Pease. Dorris was a long time member of the Spillertown Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
