Dorothy Weatherford

Marion-Dorothy Weatherford, 61, passed away at 1:15pm on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at her home. Dorothy was born on November 11, 1952 to Floyd and Esther (Miller) McGinn. She married Ernest Weatherford on June 8, 1974 in New Baden. He preceded her in death on August 17, 2005. Dorothy retired from the Williamson County Ambulance Company. She received numerous awards and certificates throughout her nursing career. Dorothy was also a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Survivors include: Sons: Matthew Weatherford Jonathan Weatherford Grandchildren: Austin and Ryan Sister-Dianne She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; son, Jason Weatherford; brothers, Mark and Floyd Jr and sister, Kathleen. A memorial mass will be held at a later date. Blue Funeral Home in Marion is assisting with arrangements
