Dorothy M. “Dot” Campbell MARION-Dorothy M. “Dot” Campbell, 86, of Marion passed away at 11:10 AM, Thursday, January 21, 2010 at Friendship Care Center in Herrin. To accommodate family travel funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, January 29, 2010 at the Blue Funeral Home in Marion. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Maplewood Cemetery in Marion. Dot was born on March 11, 1923 in Marion to Elige P. and Mattie (Harden) Campbell. Survivors include her grandchildren, Becky S. and Tony A. Davis of Marion, JoAnn and Jeff Golbow of Katy, Texas and Michael D. Midgett of Brookshire, Texas; great grandchildren, Jeremy L. Kelly, Christopher L. Kelly, Sgt. Timothy Ryan Kelly, Amanda Nicole and Mitch Voigt and Lance Zuckerman; brothers, Charles Campbell and Lesley Elmo Campbell; sister, Rosemary Farmer; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Dorothy Ann Midgett; brothers, Lee Campbell and Paul Campbell; and sisters, Olga Meadows and Delilah Robinson. Dot was a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and especially her grandchildren.
