Dorothy Leona Bandy

Dorothy Leona Bandy MARION-Dorothy Leona Bandy, 87, of Marion passed away at 12:40 AM, Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. With respect with Dorothy’s own personal wishes there will be no public visitation or funeral. Blue Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Bandy was born on June 17, 1921 in Burtlake, Michigan to Earl and Leona (Webster) Jacobs. She married Frank Burnett; he preceded her in death in December of 1970. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Lee and Jim Groner of Connecticut; daughter and son-in-law, Elsie and Chet Adams of Michigan; grandchildren, Cheryl and Kyle Oberndorfer and Todd and Sandy Kopriva; and great grandchildren, B.J., Devin and Karlee Obendorfer. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers; and one sister. Mrs. Bandy was a homemaker.
