Dorothy Lou Lee

Dorothy L. Lee, age 96, of Marion, Illinois, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2024 at Parkway Estates in Marion, Illinois.

Dorothy was born December 27, 1927 in Marion, Illinois, a daughter of Stephen and Etta (Bradley) Hendrickson. She married the love of her life, Dean Lee on May 07, 1949 in Marion, IL. Dorothy worked several years in the office at Cox Hardware. Dorothy volunteered more than 27 years at Heartland Hospital and received several awards for her volunteer work . She attended Community of Christ Church. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, and knitting. She loved her family and spending time with them.

She is survived by her Son in law, Donald Daus of Saint Louis, MO. She is preceded in death by her husband Dean Lee; one daughter, Janice Daus; and her parents, Stephen and Etta Hendrickson.

Private burial will be held at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Marion, Illinois.
