Dorothy Garner MARION-Dorothy Garner, 76, of Marion passed away at 11:40 PM, Thursday, September 22, 2005 at her residence. Family and friends are welcome at the Graveside services that will be held at 1:30 PM, Sunday, September 25, 2005 at Davis Prairie Cemetery in Marion with Reverend Don Colson and Reverend Brent Fitzgerald officiating. There will be no visitation. Blue Funeral Home in Marion is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Garner was born on October 16, 1928 in Marion to James Edward and Emma Pearl (Litton) Lucas. She married Lael Otto Garner on January 15, 1975 and he survives. Other survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Darlene and Gail Blumenstock of Marion; grandchildren, Kacy Blumenstock, Jena Blumenstock, Krista and Reverend Cory Cartwright, Jeanetta Bammann, Mark Zoeller, Robert Gulley and Brian Gulley; three great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Chris Zoeller-Lee; and son-in-law, Harley Gulley. She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Noble Reed Zoeller, Ronnie Edward Zoeller, and Dale Elmer Zoeller; daughter, Brenda Jean Gulley; one sister; and two brothers. Mrs. Garner retired from the Vienna Correctional Center. She formerly attended the Christian Life Center in Herrin and currently attended Community Chapel in Marion.
