Carrier Mills-Doris (McIntosh) Beggs, 80, passed away at 3:05pm on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at Carrier Mills Nursing Home. Doris was born on May 30, 1934 in Marion to William and Bonnie (Penrod) McIntosh. She married Hale Beggs and he preceded her in death. Her hobbies included cross word puzzles and fishing.  She loved going to church and visiting with her family. She will be missed by all. Survivors include: Children: Bill Cook and fiancé Pam Davis of Forrest, IL Angel and Scott Sanders of Chatsworth, IL David Cook of Marion Paul and Mycra Cook of Harrisburg Other extended family Grandchildren: Jess Sanders Kristi and Adam Colclasure Paige Cook Alexia BeBout Tyler BeBout Dusty Hay Seven great grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Hale; son, James Cook; half-brother, Ray Cavaness; half sister, Dorothy Malloy; first husband, Henry Cook and step daughter, Linda Gunther. It was her wishes to be cremated.  Burial will be at a later date at Shiloh Cemetery.  A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 5, 2014 at 4pm at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. Lee Wollard officiating.  Visitation will also be on Sunday from 2pm until the time of service at the funeral home. Memorial donations are suggested to the family c/o Bill Cook and will be accepted at Blue Funeral Home/ 1704 N. Court St/ Marion, IL  62959.
