Dorene "Bobbie" Austin

Marion-Dorene “Bobbie” Austin, 79, passed away at 10:16am on Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at Parkway Manor. Bobbie was born on July 15, 1934 in Michigan to Earl and Thelma (Simon) Keown. She married Wallace Austin on November 29, 1963 in Evansville, IN. He preceded her in death on January 23, 2000. Bobbie retired as an LPN from Herrin Hospital after many years of service. She was in the Army’s WACS and was also a member of First Baptist Church. Survivors include: Sons: Steven Luse and wife Pam Wally Austin Perry Austin and wife Beverly Grandchildren: Zachary Austin Kaitlin Austin Ashley Austin Sydney Austin Bobby Marks Jason Luse Great granddaughter- Gracie Austin Several brothers and sisters She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and daughter, Laura Luse Graveside services will be held on Friday, December 27, 2013 at 11am at Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion with Dr. Bob Dickerson officiating. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery. Blue Funeral Home in Marion is assisting with arrangements.
