Donald "Bud" Wooldridge MARION - Donald "Bud" Wooldridge, 77, of Marion passed away at 4:45 PM, Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at Wesley Medical Center in Hattiesburg, Mississippi surrounded by family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, November 26, 2007 at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Reverend Deon Baker officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, Sunday, November 25, 2007 at the funeral home. Graveside services and burial will be at 1:00 PM, Monday, November 26, 2007 at Iuka Cemetery in Iuka. Military rites will be held at the funeral home by VFW Post 1301, American Legion Post 147 and the National Guard. Mr. Wooldridge was born on March 28, 1930 in Iuka, Illinois the son of Cecil and Alice (Frye) Wooldridge. He married Anna Mae Copple on December 21, 1950; together they shared 56 years of marriage. Survivors include his wife, Anna Mae of Marion; daughter and son-in-law, Lana Sue and Rodney Gresham of Hattiesburg, Mississippi; three grandchildren, Chad and wife Melissa Harmon, Kelli and husband Brian Dorris, Cara Henn; one step-grandchild, LaShonna Gresham; two great-grand children, McKenzie and Christopher Henn; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Dana Harmon; and a brother William "Bill" Wooldridge. Mr. Wooldridge was a veteran of the Korean War serving in Germany. He was a member at Woodlawn Church, VFW Post 1301, Marion Eagles, and Marion Elks. He was employed at Fabick Machinery for 28 years and retired in 1992.
