Marion-Donald Sowder, 84, passed away on Friday, May 20, 2016 at his home.
Donald was born on December 29, 1931 in Billett, IL to James and Alene (Crouch) Sowder. He married Deloris Curts on January 13, 1951 in Indiana. She survives of Marion.
Donald was a retired electrical engineer from Alcoa Warrick Operators. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Donald Sowder; grandson, Curt Taylor; daughter in law; Betty Sowder; sisters, Frances Sowder and Eva Sowder and his second wife, Louise.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at 11am at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Pastor Ben Hottel officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 from 5pm-8pm at the funeral home. Burial will be on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at 1pm at Maple Grove Cemetery in Boonville, IN.
