Dolly Deanna "Dee" Deering

December 19, 1942 — November 6, 2021

Dolly Deanna "Dee" Deering, age 78, of Stonefort, peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior, at 8:33am on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale, while comforted by her loving family.


Dolly was born December 19, 1942 in Dexter, Missouri. She was the daughter of Clyde and Henrietta (Johnson) Phillips. She married the love of her life, Jack Deering on March 19, 1960 in Elgin, IL. Unfortunately Mr. Deering Passed away November 30, 1991, after 30 beautiful years of marriage.

Survivors include, her four children-Deborah (Keith) Hughes of Stonefort; Tony (Sherri Clark) Deering of Stonefort; Elizabeth Clark of Marion; Marty and Tracy Deering of Stonefort.

As well as many nieces and nephews

She is preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Henrietta (Johnson) Phillips; Husband Jack Deering, Sisters, Doris Stanfield and Junetta Simmons, Brothers, Arthur Phillips, Robert Phillips, and Gary Phillips; and her nephew, Christopher Cain.

Memorial services will be held at 11am on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. Jerry Schell officiating. A time of visitation will be held from 10-11am on Saturday at Blue Funeral Home.

Blue Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with final arrangements.
