Dennis Paul Grable WEST FRANKFORT-Dennis Paul Grable, 54, of West Frankfort passed away at 4:47 AM, Monday, January 30, 2006 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, February 3, 2006 at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Reverend Jeff Baker and Pastor Cynthia Freeland officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, February 2, 2006 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Lakeview Cemetery in Johnston City. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois; envelopes will be available at the funeral home or may be sent co Blue Funeral Home, P.O. Box 411, Marion, Illinois, 62959. Mr. Grable was born on August 21, 1951 in Thayer, Missouri to Olaf Harding and Beatrice M. (Kester) Grable. Survivors include sons, Louie Spencer and Matthew Paul Grable both of Scottsbluff, Nebraska; sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Robert Brooks of Lehigh Acres, Florida; sister and brother-in-law, Phyllis and Clyde Gee of West Frankfort; brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Juanita Grable of Sheldon; twin sister, Donna Downs of Cambria; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents; two nephews; and one niece. Mr. Grable worked as a superintendent in drilling for the Longfellow Foundation. He loved to fish. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and respiratory therapists for the loving care that was given to Dennis.
