Marion-Dennis Jones, 58, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2013 at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. Dennis was born on June 18, 1955 in Pekin, IL to James and Betty (Webb) Jones. He married Patricia Loeh on August 6, 1976 in Goreville. She survives of Marion. Dennis was the owner of Jones Plumbing for many years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and will be missed by all. Survivors include: Wife-Patricia Jones of Marion Mother-Betty Jones Son-Nathan Jones and wife Michelle of Ft. Riley, KS Daughter-Megan Jones of Carbondale Grandson-Theodore Vincente Jones of Ft. Riley, KS Brother-Randy Jones and wife Gail of Marion Sister-Dixie Handel of Marion Nieces: Julie McAlpin of Marion Tara Weinhold of O’Fallon, MO Jennifer Shul of Greenfield, MA He was preceded in death by his father and nephew, Christopher Jones. Funeral services will be on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at 2pm at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. John Holst officiating. Burial will be at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Buncombe. Visitation will also be on Saturday, December 7, 2013 from 12pm until the time of service at the funeral home.
