Delorious Ivern Copher
MARION-Delorious Ivern Copher, 75, of Marion passed away at 10:21 AM, Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM, Saturday, November 25, 2006 at blue Funeral Home in Marion. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, Friday, November 24, 2006 at the funeral home. Burial will be at East Lawn Memorial Gardens in Energy.
Mrs. Copher was born June 9, 1931 in Elkville, Illinois to Howard Guy and Earlean Lavina (Smith) Wright. She married Lyle Ray Copher on January 24, 1948 in Henderson, Kentucky; together they shared 58 years of marriage.
Survivors include her husband Lyle of Marion; her children, Janice and Earl Webb of Effingham, Lavina Copher and her companion, Dick Lentz of Vandalia, Wesley Lyle and Julie Copher of Marion and John Howard Copher of St. Louis, Missouri; grandchildren, Timothy Lee Webb, Thomas Earl Webb, Billy Lyle Hopper, Brent Dwayne Houseworth, Brian Dale Houseworth, Dustin Lyle Copher, Brent Castellano, Chris Castellano and Rory Zimny; great grandchildren, Kirstin Houseworth, Colton Houseworth, Blake Houseworth, Mason Houseworth and Jarika Castellano.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Sharon Houseworth; and two brothers, Gene Wright and Kenneth Wright.
Mrs. Copher was a homemaker. She enjoyed traveling and RVing with her husband. She was a member of the Herrin Eagles Auxiliary.
