Delores I. Null MARION-Delores I. Null, 65, of Marion passed away at 3:00 AM, Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at Fountain Nursing Home in Marion. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, June 19, 2009 at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Brother Jim Cockburn, Brother Kevin McNeely and Brother Kenneth Blumenstock officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, June 18, 2009 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion. Memorials may be made to the Hospice of Southern Illinois or Fountain Nursing Home; envelopes are available at the funeral home or may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, IL 62959. Mrs. Null was born September 15, 1943 in Herrin, Illinois to Vernon and Lenora (Graul) Kelley. She married Robert E. “Eddie” Null, Sr. on April 13, 1963 in Corinth, Mississippi; he preceded her in death on December 2, 2006. Survivors include her children, Rob and Tina Null, Becky and Rob Wilkie, Renda Wilkie and Pam and Don Newton; grandchildren, Ryan Null, Logan Null, Clint Wilkie, Mitchell Wilkie, Ellen Wilkie, Nathan Wilkie and Adam and Samantha Cannon; great grandchild, Noah Cannon; her mother, Lenora Kelley; sister and brother-in-law, Brenda and Fred Boester; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Dik and Brenda Null; nieces and nephews, Shelley Null, Carrie Marks, Sarah Beth Bone, Todd Kelley, Scott Kelley, Tabatha Booten, Bridgett Compas, Brandy Dodd and Diana Logsden. She was preceded in death by her father; husband; and brothers, Lyndell Kelley and Wayne Kelley. Mrs. Null was a member of Whiteash Free Will Baptist Church. She was a Marion High School graduate. She worked as a bookkeeper for Jackson and Gray Insurance and Absher Motors. Delores was a faithful pastor’s wife for 26 years. She was a loving mother and grandmother, daughter and sister.
