Deborah Marie Skeate

Deborah Marie Skeate, age 68, of Herrin, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion, Illinois.

Deborah was born August 06, 1953 in Chicago, Illinois, a daughter of Chester and Jeanette (LaRocque) Klock. Deborah had spent her life as a homemaker, providing for and raising six children. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by six children, Ann Skeate, David and Lisa Skeate, Walter and Amy Skeate, Joe and Amy Skeate, Scott and Lisa Skeate, and Brandon and Jaylen Bates; six siblings, Frank and Mary Kay Klock, Bob and Denise Klock, Tom and Joanne Klock, Glen and Clare Klock, Sue and Sam Edgin, and Joyce and John Ciesla; and her Grandchildren, Grace, Mckenna and Brooke Skeate, Emma Skeate and Eli Vickery, Kaitlin, Addison, Josie and Kollin Skeate, Christian Reese, and Jay, Gracie, and Jaxson; several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents and one grandson, Walter Lucas Skeate, IV.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 13th, 2022 from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Blue Funeral Home in Marion. A eulogy will be given by the family at 7pm on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Blue Funeral Home.
