Deborah K. (Grimes) Stone MARION –Deborah K. (Grimes) Stone, 55, of Marion passed away at 10:42 AM, Sunday, July 27, 2008 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Reverend Edward “Shorty” Alsip officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until the time of the service on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Hillcrest Cemetery in Carterville. Deborah was born on June 24, 1953 in Carbondale, Illinois to Fred and Evelyn (Greer) Grimes. Survivors include her children, Ray Stone, Paul Stone and Jeri and William Carter all of Marion; aunt, Marilyn Corley of Carterville; father of her children, John Stone of Marion; mother-in-law, Nadine Stone; and sister-in-law, Deborah Ann Stone. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Thomas Grimes and Steven Grimes. Deborah was of the Free Will Baptist faith. She was previously employed by Wal-Mart and she was a homemaker.
