Deanna June Boyt

Deanna June Boyt, age 83, of Marion, Illinois, passed away Sunday, May 29, 2022 at Herrin Hospital.

Deanna was born July 28, 1938 in Marion, Illinois. She married the love of her life, Arlie Hubert "Andy" Boyt. He preceded her in death. Deanna was the proud owner and operator of Dee's Pets in Marion for many years.

She is survived by three sons, Patrick Lee (Eileen) Boyt, Greg (Jacalyn) Boyt, and Alan Boyt; nine grandchildren, Patrick Daniel Boyt, Lucas Boyt, Garrett (Tanisha) Boyt, Heather (Tyler) Couty, Samantha (Ernie) Gurganus, Amanda Boyt, Allison Boyt, Michael Boyt, and Steve Boyt; Step-Daughter, Thala Boyt-Chestosky, Step-Son Mark (Marsha) Boyt, Step-Son David Boyt, Step-Son Christopher (Yolanda) Boyt, Great Grandchild Elizabeth Boyt, Great Grandchild Chloe Boyt, Great Grandchild James Bradley Boyt, Great Grandchild Ariella Gurganus, Great Grandchild Sebastien Gurganus, Great Grandchild Carter Couty, and two sisters- Doris and Alice.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, one grandchild, Bradley Boyt and one sister, Dorothy Blumenstock.

A memorial visitation will be held from 1-4pm on Sunday, June 12, 2022 at Blue Funeral Home in Marion. Family and friends are asked to gather to share in a time of fellowship, memories and remembrances.
