Dawn Marie Rivers MARION-Dawn Marie Rivers, 39, of Marion passed away at 3:33 PM, August 25, 2009 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. Funeral services were held at 7:30 PM, Thursday, August 27, 2009 at the Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Dr. Victor Long officiating. Burial was at Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion. Dawn was born October 7, 1969 in Carbondale to Jon and Edythe (Merrill) Rivers. Survivors include her daughters, Emily Nichole Blevins and Lexy Marie Blevins; parents, Jon and Edie Rivers; sisters and brothers-in-law, Michelle and Quent Hamilton and Barbie and Tim Barnett; nephews, Holden Reel and Peyton Barnett; and nieces, Brook Hamilton and Presley Barnett. Dawn graduated from Parkland College from the Veterinarian Technician Program and John A. Logan College Nursing Program. She worked as a caregiver.
