Marion-David L. West, 58, passed away on Friday, June 19, 2015 at his home. David was born on October 18, 1956 in Rock Island to Gerald and Lydia (Martinez) West. David was employed as an auto technician. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors include: Mother-Lydia West of Marion Children: David Haught Eric Haught Veron Haught Andrea West Twin brother-Donald L. and Cynthia West Brother-George G. West Sister-Debbie and Dennis Morgan Brother-Gerald Jr. and Audrey West He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Sr.; brother, Robert West and grandson, Skyler West A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at 1pm at Goddard Chapel with Monsignor Thomas Flach officiating. Blue Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorial donations are suggested to Hospice of Southern Illinois and will be accepted at Blue Funeral Home/ 1704 N.
