Darlus Jane Nordmeyer MARION-Darlus Jane Nordmeyer, 73, of Marion, passed away at 6:24 PM, Sunday, June 13, 2010 at her home surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at Blue Funeral Home in Marion. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until the time of the service on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at East Lawn Memorial Gardens in Energy. Darlus was born August 20, 1936 in Herrin to Robert and Georgia (Phillips) Christ. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Chanda and David Green of Carbondale; son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Tonnie Nordmeyer of Johnston City; grandchildren, Amy Nordmeyer, Adam Nordmeyer, Tonya Mays, Bon Parks, Daye Roach, G. W. Downs, Dalus Scheus, Joel Green, Sara Hawkins, Daniel Green and Anna Green; nineteen great grandchildren and one on the way; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Valerie Peak of Seattle, Washington; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Judy and Dale Whitehead; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Gerald and Mayda Nordmeyer; and many good friends. He was preceded in death by her parents. Darlus formerly worked for the Williamson County Circuit Clerks office for many years. She was a member of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed playing the piano.
