Daniel L. Davis CREAL SPRINGS-Daniel L. Davis, 49, of Creal Springs passed away at 8:24 AM, Sunday, May 20, 2007 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM, Thursday, May 24, 2007 at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Reverend David Hancock officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, May 23, 2007 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion. Daniel was born February 15, 1958 in Belleville, Illinois to Edward Lee and Ileta I. (Harris) Davis. He married Ann Faulkner on September 9, 1975 in Carrier Mills; together they shared 31 years of marriage. Survivors include his wife, Ann of Creal Springs; daughter and son-in-law, Tosha and Tom Bonds of Marion; grandchildren, Mason, Kirstie & Kaitlyn Bonds; his parents, Edward and Ileta Davis of Creal Springs; sisters and brothers-in-law, Susan and Lonny Reams of Pittsburg and Becky and Travis Mattingly of Carrier Mills; nephew, Benjamin Reams; and special friends, Blair Mayfield and Brent Boaz. He was preceded in death by his Grandpa and Grandma Harris and Grandpa and Grandma Davis. Daniel formerly worked at Allen’s Maytag in Marion and worked as an auto mechanic in the area. He was an avid race car fan and a big fan of Dale Earnhardt Sr. & Dale Earnhardt Jr. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He will be missed by all.
