Dale Ray Cash Marion-Dale Ray Cash, 64, of Sleepy Hollow, IL, formerly of Marion, passed away on Monday, January 31, 2011 in Chicago, IL. Visitation will held on Friday, February 4, 2011 from 2:00-4:00 PM at Blue Funeral Home in Marion. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 4:00 PM on Friday with Reverend Mike Cash officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion directly following the service. Dale was born on January 15, 1947 in Marion, IL to George Ray & Ruth (Hill) Cash. He is survived by one brother & sister-in-law, Charlie & Joy Cash of Benton and numerous cousins. Dale was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Nancy. Dale worked for Northwest Airlines at O’Hare airport for more than 20 years. After his retirement he obtained a position as “greeter” for the Home Depot near his home. Dale was perfectly suited for this later employment venture since he rarely met a stranger, and if he did, he quickly became their friend. He formerly attended Third Baptist Church in Marion before moving to the Chicago-land area.
