Cynthia June Phillips

Cynthia June Phillips, age 63, of Goreville, Illinois, passed away at 10:31 a.m. on Thursday, November 26, 2020 at her residence in Cambria.

Cynthia was born on May 13, 1957 in Illinois, a daughter to the late Lloyd Lavon and Geraldine (Walker) Billingsley. She married Randall Phillips in Marion, and he preceded her in death on October 9, 2011. She worked as a waitress for the truck stops in Marion as well as at Farmers Table. When her health allowed, she loved to dance. She enjoyed listening to music and spending time with her family on Sunday.

Survivors include her daughter, Trist Phillips (Gavin Barham) of Johnston City; granddaughter, Amy Barham of Johnston City; brother, John Paul Billingsley of Goreville; loving friend and caregiver, Megan Krumrey of Cambria; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband, Randall Phillips; two sisters, Becky Dorsey and Tracy Montgomery.

Cremation will take place and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Blue Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with arrangements.
