Conrad Knakmuhs Pittsburg-Conrad Knakmuhs, 83, of Pittsburg passed away at 11:36 AM, Saturday, April 14, 2007 at home. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Thursday April 19, 2007, at Blue Funeral Home in Marion. There will be no funeral service; burial will be at a later date. Mr. Knakmuhs was born on February 22, 1924, in West Salem, Illinois to Grover R. and Iva Pearl (Schovert) Knakmuhs. He married Eris Krahl on January 13, 1994, in Harrisburg. She survives of Pittsburg. He is survived by his wife Eris; daughter Jean and husband Foster Rinefort of Charleston, Illinois; daughter Camille and husband Danny Gaddy of Olney, Illinois; daughter Peggy Johnson of Washington, Indiana; daughter Iva Mae and husband Charles Richards of Albion, Illlinois; and son Ronald Knakmuhs of Evansville, Indiana; and many step-children; sister Ruth Dickman of Minnesota; also numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mr. Knakmuhs was preceded in death by his parents; first wife Hazel; second wife Renie; brother Raymond Knakmuhs; and sister Iva Lou. Mr. Knakmuhs was a retired laborer from Illinois Bell; he was also a farmer, he enjoyed gardening and being outdoors.
