Clifford Eugene Trexler

Goreville- Clifford Eugene Trexler, 75, of Goreville, passed away at 6:30pm on Sunday, July 14, 2013 at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. Clifford was born on January 19, 1938 in Johnson County to Roy and Willie (Sullivan) Trexler.  He married Carol Ann Schenk on February 28, 1959 in Trenton, Michigan. She survives of Goreville. Clifford retired from the Ford Motor Company.  He loved cars, hunting and spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors include: Children: Brenda K. and Joe Picker of Warrenton, Missouri Susan Ann and Keith Dees of St. Joseph, Illinois Grandchildren: Kimberly Braun Melissa Slattery Dustin and Valerie Dees Joshua Dees Cody Dees Clifford was preceded in death by his parents; son, Dan Trexler; three brothers and three sisters. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 18 at 1 pm at Blue Funeral Home in Goreville with Josh Dees officiating.  Burial will follow at Anderson Cemetery in Boaz. Visitation will be on Thursday, July 18 from 11am until the time of service at the funeral home.
