Christopher Lee Sullins MARION-Christopher Lee Sullins, 47, of Marion passed away at 9:20 AM, Monday, November 23, 2009 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, November 27, 2009 at the Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Reverend Jim Cockburn, Reverend Roger Odom, Reverend Richard Sullins and Reverend Corey Tincher officiating. Visitation will be from 12:30 PM until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion. Memorials may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Association; envelopes are available at the funeral home or may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, IL 62959. Christopher was born October 7, 1962 in Marion to Lloyd Louis and Nancy Sue (Doty) Sullins. He married Mylinda Tincher on December 30, 1989 in Marion; together they shared almost 20 years of marriage. Survivors include his wife, Mylinda of Marion; daughter, Andriea Sullins; sons, Brandon and Michael Sullins; foster child, Symone Harvey; his parents, Lloyd and Nancy Sullins of Marion; brother and sister-in-law, Charles Eugene and Shannon Sullins of Yelm, Washington; sister, Tamerla Sue Sullins of Marion; several nieces and nephews; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Eugene and Iola Tincher of Marion. Christopher attended the New Horizon General Baptist Church. He was currently employed by Marion Unit 2 at Marion Junior High School, where he had many friends. He enjoyed cross stitching and fishing. He was well known for his vast collection of “Pez Dispensers”, and even having “Pezman” on his license plates.
