Charlotte A. Payne MARION- Charlotte A. Payne, 70, of Marion passed away at 9:22 AM, April 4, 2004 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, April 7, 2004 at the First Christian Church in Marion with Pastor Bill Rucker officiating. Blue Funeral Home in Marion is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Payne was born on May 27, 1933 in Herrin, Illinois to Herschel W. and Bessie (Klink) Ellis. She married William Payne, and he survives. Other survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Shannon Payne of Dearborn, Michigan; granddaughter, Sophia Payne; sister, Lucille Craddock of Benton; nephew and his wife, Bruce and Becky Craddock of Marion; and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Mrs. Payne was a member of the First Christian Church in Marion. She worked several years for the Social Security Administration Office.
