Charles E. Coulter

Charles E. Coulter MARION–Charles E. Coulter, 61, of Marion passed away at 10:55 PM, Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, November 24, 2008 at the Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Danny Seyferth officiating. Military rites will be held at the funeral home by VFW Post 1301, American Legion Post 147 and the National Guard. Memorials may be made to the VFW Post 1301 Ritual Team; envelopes are available at the funeral home or may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion IL 62959. Mr. Coulter was born on July 8, 1947 in Carbondale, Illinois to John Radford and Elizabeth (Murry) Coulter. He married Karren Seyferth on September 12, 1970; together they shared 38 years of marriage. Survivors include his wife, Karren Coulter of Marion; son, Nickolas Coulter and his girlfriend, Jennifer Biley of Johnston City; brother, Robert Coulter of Murphysboro; brother-in-law, Danny Seyferth; and his beloved Pappion, “Ziggy”. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Bill Coulter. Mr. Coulter formerly owned and operated Coulter Insurance Adjusting. He served his country with the United States Army from 1966 to 1968 in Germany. He was of the protestant faith. He enjoyed coin collecting, NASCAR and relaxing in his yard. The family would like to thank his many friends who have helped during his illness.
