Charles E. Antonacci

Charles E. "Bucky" Antonacci, age 89, of Marion, passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at 12:14 am.

Bucky was born April 14, 1934 in Louisville Township, Illinois, the only child of Nick and Nadine (Fitzgerald) Antonacci.

He proudly served his country during the Korean war, he was a Navy veteran. Bucky retired as a lineman from CIPS/Ameren. He was a member of the Marion Knights of Columbus and the Marion VFW Post #1301. He enjoyed wood working, playing golf and hunting.

He is survived by his companion of over 30 years, Linda Phelps of Galatia. He is preceded in death by his parents, four sons, Bryce, Brad, Brett, and Bruce Antonacci; and his infant daughter, Stacy.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 21st, 2024 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at the Blue Funeral Home in Marion. Family and friends are welcome to visit during those times to share memories of Bucky and celebrate his life. Private burial will take place at Rose Hill Cemetery.
