Charles Albright

Goreville-Charles Eugene Albright, 84, passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at Heartland Regional Medical Center.

Charles was born in Anna on January 26, 1935 to John and Lucy (Jordan) Albright. He married Nina Russell on July 18, 1983 and she preceded him in death on June 12, 2017.

Charles worked as a laborer for the sewer department for many years. He sang in various gospel quartets and trios and was an outstanding bass.

Sister-Thelma “Sissy” Slemp of Joliet

Numerous nieces and nephews

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at 4pm at Blue Funeral Home in Goreville with Rev. Jeff Owens officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 2pm until the time of service at the funeral home.
