Hannah Charlene Hilliard, passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2020 at the age of 86 years and nine months. She was born on September 28, 1933 in rural Williamson County to Lloyd and Ella (Flora) Arnold. Charlene married Noel Hillard on April 24, 1954 and he preceded her in death on September 24, 1996.
Charlene leaves behind three daughters, Denise (Larry) Peas, Deanna (Ralph) Carter and Dana (Dana) Roberts; four grandchildren, Alex (Tara) Peas, Anissa (Rex) Priddy, Tyler (Suzanne) Roberts and Trenton Roberts; 14 great grandchildren, Noel Peas, Chasey Peas, Cayden Priddy, Hannah Priddy, Axel Roberts, Bodie Roberts, Tripp Roberts, Theo Roberts, Shepherd Roberts, Jeremiah Roberts, Lamar Roberts, Evie Roberts, Colby Roberts and Vaughn Roberts and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a brother and a sister.
Charlene became a Christian at the age of 13, baptized in a cow pond. She was a member of Marion First Baptist Church and was active in the Suzanne Stuckey Mission Group and the Naomi-Dorcas-Martha Sunday School Class. Charlene was also a member of the Williamson County HEA. She loved to quilt and crochet and was always ready to tackle a new project. Charlene loved spending time with family. She will be missed by those who will cherish her always.
Private family services will be held at Blue Funeral Home in Marion. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at 11am at Mt. Pleasant “Shed” Cemetery with Dr. Bob Dickerson officiating.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Children/Youth Program and will be accepted at the funeral home.
