Carol Medvick

Marion – Carol Medvick, 51, passed away at 12:37 P.M. on Thursday, October 11, 2012 at Heartland Regional Medical Center following a long illness. Carol was born November 2, 1960 in Madison, Wisconsin the daughter of Charles and Arlene (Kacik) Medvick. She graduated from Marion High School in 1979 and received her Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from SIU, Carbondale. Carol went on to complete her Master’s degree in Finance from Georgia State University. Her employment was primarily based in Atlanta, Georgia and Cincinnati, Ohio but included travel to various parts of the world. She was a member of the America Society of Interior Designers. Carol is survived by; Her Parents – Charles and Arlene Medvick of Marion Brother – Mark Medvick and wife Deborah of St. Louis, Missouri Brother – David Medvick and wife Nancy of St. Louis, Missouri Several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, October 15, 2012 at 11 A.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Marion with Monsignor Thomas Flach officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 A.M. until the time of service on Monday at the church. Blue Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. For those who prefer memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
