Carol Jean Johnson

Marion- Carol Jean Johnson, age 82, of Marion, passed away at her home on Friday, March 8, 2019. Carol was born in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on February 14, 1937, the daughter of William and Venita (McKinney) Moore. Prior to her retirement, she had worked as a registered nurse for Marion Memorial Hospital and Herrin Hospital. Survivors include her two sons and daughters-in-law- Terry and Jackie Johnson of St. Charles, Missouri Tim and Kay Johnson of Ava, IL Eleven Grandchildren- Dane, Chandra, Bryce, Dakota, Preston, Brittney, Kendra, Kalyn, Gage, Jennifer, And Stefanie Twelve Great Grandchildren Sister- Judy Ann Sales of Cambridge, Minnesota Cousin- Brenda Sutliff of Cobden Beloved Dog- Sadie She was preceded in death by her parents, infant sister, and granddaughter- Morgan Johnson. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Blue Funeral Home in Marion.  Rev. Keith Owens will officiate.  Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion.  Visitation will be from5-8pm on Monday, March 11, 2019 at Blue Funeral Home in Marion.
