Carmen Blossom Jordan CREAL SPRINGS-Carmen Blossom Jordan, 96, of Creal Springs, passed away at 12:57 PM, Wednesday, August 24, 2005 at the home of her daughter. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, August 27, 2005 at the Church of Christ in Marion with Gerald Cowan and Kip Adams officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 2:00 PM, on Saturday at the church. Blue Funeral Home in Marion is in charge of the arrangements. Burial will be at Creal Springs Cemetery. Mrs. Jordan was born on March 11, 1909 in Frankfort, Kentucky to James Thomas and Lina Valerie (Sullivan) White. She married Adolphus Lee Jordan in 1929 in Creal Springs, Illinois, he preceded her in death in 1962. Survivors include two daughters, Sandra Valerie Thompson and family of Woodstock, Georgia and Anita Yvonne Schatzman and family of Franksville, Wisconsin; seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; daughter, Ramona in 1942; sister, Emma Davis; and two brothers, J.T. and Jack White. Mrs. Jordan lived in Creal Springs for the past 35 years and was a member of the Church of Christ in Marion. She loved her family, her church and church family and her friends from Creal Springs. She enjoyed doing embroidery and crossword puzzles. She loved to watch `Who wants to be a Millionaire` and `Gunsmoke`. Most of all she loved to laugh and to make others laugh.
