Herrin-Bruce Holliday, 73, passed away at 12:00am on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at his home.
Bruce was born on November 7, 1942 in Cobden to William Floyd and Gladys Marie (Deming) Holliday. He married Charlotte Watson on July 6, 1963 in Carbondale. She survives of Herrin.
Bruce was the former owner and operator of the Holliday Oil Company then he was employed at J.W. Reynolds Memorials. He attended Christian Covenant Fellowship in Carterville and was an active member of the Marion Lions Club. Bruce loved his family very much and they loved him and will miss him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; father in law, Gordon Watson and Keith Holliday’s life partner, Greg Wilkerson.
A celebration of Bruce’s life will be held on January 9, 2016 at 11am at Christian Covenant Fellowship Church with Rev. Ralph Brandon officiating. Blue Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with arrangements.
