JOHNSTON CITY-Brenda Lee Shell, 43, of Johnston City passed away at 8:25 AM, Tuesday, October 11, 2005 at her daughterâs residence.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, October 14, 2005 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Watseka, Illinois with Reverend Tom McCann officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, Thursday, October 13, 2005 at the Blue Funeral Home. Ms. Shell was born on February 25, 1962 in Kankakee, Illinois to Vernell and Ina Mae (Hall) Bell.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Duane and Tina Shell, Jr. of Johnston City; daughters, Deanna M. Shell of Herrin and Danielle Shell of Johnston City; grandchildren, Tristin Shell, Brystin Shell, Hayleigh Shell, Gracie Shell; brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Jeanette Bell of Rhinelander, Wisconsin; sister and brother-in-law, Rosemary and Phil Roberts of Catlin; sister and brother-in-law, Darlene and Bill Bishop of Martinton; brother and sister-in-law, Vernon and Linda Bell of Goreville; brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Debra Bell of Martinton; fiancé, Gerald Robert Griebe, Jr. of Herrin; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Ms. Shell was a homemaker and was of the Christian faith. She was dedicated to her family. She was a loving wife, mother and “Nana” and will be missed greatly.
