Brandie Diane (Jones) Beasley, 58, passed away peacefully at her home on September 26, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born on September 14, 1966, in Hammond, Indiana, the daughter of Barry and Barbara Jones.
Brandie was a devoted wife, mother, and friend whose warmth and love will be missed by all who knew her. Brandie had a deep love for her four indoor cats, Timmy, Simon, Rosie, and Furby, a fondness for watching movies and classic game shows, and cherished moments she spent at the beach. She enjoyed dining out, visiting with her children and family, and had a passion for singing karaoke. Her joyful spirit was felt by all who spent time with her. On October 20, 1986, Brandie married the love of her life, Scott Beasley. The two built a life together filled with love and memories, spanning over three decades. She worked for many years in grocery merchandising and was known for her strong work ethic and dedication. Brandie was of the Seventh-day Adventist faith, and her faith was a source of comfort and strength throughout her life.
She is survived by her husband Scott Beasley; her children Brynden Scott Beasley and Branna Diane (John) Mahoney; her stepchildren Scott (Kristin) Beasley Jr., Steven (Kassi) Beasley, and Amy (Matthew) Clark; four step-grandchildren; her mother Barbara Jones, along with other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father Barry Jones and her maternal grandmother Loudene Bennett.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 30, 2024, from 6-8 P.M. at Blue Funeral Home located at 1704 North Court Street, Marion, Illinois under the direction of Binkley-Ross. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at 1:00 P.M. at Blue Funeral Home with Ralph Wade officiating. There will also be a visit one hour prior to the start of the funeral. Interment will follow in Coal Bank Springs Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family gratefully requests that memorial donations be directed to them, to be used toward the placement of a memorial bench at the cemetery, in Brandie's honor. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her loved ones.
